I don't normally give five star reviews to fast food chains, especially ones that take away my beloved potato wedges! :'( I'm still sad about that. But, I was supremely surprised by the output of this KFC, both in terms of food quality and service. We went through the drive-thru with a party of four (two adults and two children). Unfortunately, they don't have a kids' menu right now, but I'm guessing that's a sacrifice of COVID... lot of restaurants have the same issue unfortunately. But, everyone eventually found something they wanted. I was probably the biggest pill, asking for customized items and questions about the menu. But, the gentleman was super-patient with me and took the time to answer my questions. I don't eat at KFC that often, so I wasn't familiar with the menu... (before you judge me for just being a pill). The guy who took our order was really the star of the show, though. Really patient, very clearly spoken, friendly, helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better customer experience. As for the food, I honestly cannot complain. Yes, they gave me the wrong side (mashed potatoes instead of cole slaw), but I wasn't going to even eat that one anyway. I actually did eat the wrong substitution, so it was like Monopoly: KFC errored in your favor! I had a similar issue with my sandwich: no extra pickles... but, no mayo as requested! Honestly, not a big deal. With as large of an order as we had, there were NO MISSING ITEMS! That's unheard of these days! And the only thing wrong was my lack of pickles and 'happy accident' side swapping in my combo. Bring back the potato wedges, KFC! And as for this location, whomever was working the drive-thru on Sunday, August 16 at around 1:30pm deserves recognition for outstanding customer care. This was probably the best KFC experience I've had in years (despite the lack of wedges).
